Patience on Day 19/9

Last night I got a revelation and it was so powerful that it has set my mind free as to why I've struggled for so long to lose only 10-15 lbs of fat!
Michael http://thefatburningmachineblog.com/ made mention of this in a few of his post - as to why we sometimes struggle to see results...we bunny hop from plan to plan every 3 weeks when we don't see the results we'd expect within 2-3 weeks.
In all honesty this is the second week within my 18 days that I've been 100% complaint with both my nutritional and exercise plan together. Prior it would be one or the other...so after giving it for 2 weeks I have noticed some visible changes but nothing substantial around my stomach area where the most amount of fat sits.
Last night as I crawled into bed at 9:30pm, my thoughts on this subject continued which led to this thought "maybe I should change things up a bit", then suddenly it happened - my revelation in one word "PATIENCE".
Once I realized the power of that word, and how it applied to my situation I was set free - my mind was clear, my heart strengthened, and realization that this was a pattern..bad habit that I practiced for the past 4 years was the delay in losing fat.

Patience - the bible is full of great quotes on the benefits of exercising this gift, this virtue, and what entails if not used. The Webster dictionary defines
Patience as the capacity, habit, or fact of being PATIENT as
1: bearing pains or trials calmly or without complaint
2: manifesting forbearance under provocation or strain
3: not hasty or impetuous
4: steadfast despite opposition, difficulty, or adversity.

I am empowered, and more focused than I've ever been to stick with this program until Aug 27th - one day before I leave for my trip for 1 month to visit my parent and sister in South America.
Completed 33 min of full body strength training - tonight it is cardio and sit-ups!
OK, this is it for today...moving forward with the virtue of patience fully 100% active!

You are doing so well and are so focused Diane. Am so proud of you sticking to it and doing so well. MICHAEL is also helping me and tells me again and again to stick with it and not wishy-washy. My patience is about an inch long and probably is my worst trait. I know you can do this. We all can if we just try hard enough....

Diane, patience is the key my friend. You have to give your body time to react to your plan and even if you aren't getting the results you'd want, make only SMALL changes. The idea is to fine tune, not completely change things up.
