I will not stop, give in or give up!

  1. Make the decision to change
  2. Believe in yourself
  3. Apply the necessary strategies to get you there
  4. Don't ever quit!

There comes a time when we're all faced with making concrete decisions in our lives that we believe will make a good difference for us and ultimately touch the lives of others for good. In the process of arriving to this place it appears that life's circumstances shows up at the inopportune time, that challenges your decision. Sometimes, the circumstances win simply because we may not have been fully committed, ready, or the timing was off.

Since Nov 21st I've exercised about 8 times because I was sick! Christmas day was my best day after recovering from a nasty flu. Then New Year's eve a cold hit, but I stuck to my plan and began my 40 day challenge. Today however, I'm home from work because the cold has taken its toll (PS my Internet is up and running again:-). Needless to say, I'm frustrated, but energized by this truth "I will not stop, give up or give in" on my 40 day challenge, or any other goals I intend to reach.

I may not have the energy to hit the gym, but my clean eating is still in place. Mentally, I am focused to get this job done and achieve the best results EVER!! Saturday I will post my pictures, along with the 2 piece of clothing that is my goal to fit easily into.

For now here are the foods that I'll be consuming within the next 40 days!
Spinach, broccoli, oatmeal, brown rice, fresh organic veggie juice (beets, carrots and celery), protein shake, turkey breasts, fish and chicken breasts.

My supplement intake:
Vitamin B/C/D, calcium, chromium, glutamine, CLA, Greens + energy, and Omega oil.

OK, time to read my fellow bloggers post and see what Master Shredder is up to!

Hi Diane!
Boy, do I ever hope you get to feeling better and SOON. Not fun to be sick, and makes things so much harder to exercise. Think pòsitively tho and make yourself well. Will be sending you healthy vibes to help you along. Love your list of food. I too like everything you listed. Might use that list myself!
Glad to have you back with us...now to get you well.

I think the mental aspect is the hardest part, and you are in the right place as far as that goes, so the physical part will follow I know it! You can still make progress without much exercise! And as soon as you're well enough, you'll be right back at it! Great mindset!

Sorry to hear your under the weather, but you sound like you're doing great despite all of your setbacks. Great job. You're eating amazingly clean. I'm sure it will help you recover from your cold quickly as well.
