I completed my upper body workout and felt pretty good. Eating was healthy except for 1 piece of chocolate and I didn't felt guilty!
Speaking of feeling gulity when we treat ourselves to either a non nutritional meal or having too much of a nutritional meal. Why do we feel so guilty, if we're consistently on the ball? Why can't we indulge and enjoy those moments guilt free? Answers, comments welcome!
Adam suggested that I do a "Stair climbing challenge". I've been rolling the idea around in my head, but before I do, I've a few things to prove and make a gaurentee to those who would rise to this challenge.
Out to prove:
- That you can lose fat faster from your mid section and tone the lower body, by doing the stairs than any other cardio workout.
- That you can reduce or eliminate your leg workout and still build and tone your calves, quads and butt.
- That you can lose inches off your legs and see the celulite disappear.
I'm documenting the number of times I do the stairs, what alteration and variation I use, how I incorporate my arms to get an upper body workout in the process. My measurements before and after of my legs and finally pictures. I'll be sharing this info soon.
I will have someone video me while doing the stairs and share it with you folks one day.
OK enough said for today - time to hit the books!

Diane, am still so much in awe of youl doing those stairs. I can´t imagine what hard work that is. You certainly deserve all the rewards you reap. Am so proud of you!

Diane, if you do a stair challenge, you may want to consider those that have access to only 1 or 2 sets and would have to go up, down, etc, rather than up, up, up. I wish I had access to 12 or 13 flights! I know stairs are an awesome workout.

Thanks for your comments ladies and Deb, I'll keep that in mind - then a bit of running variation would be added for the lack of consistent climbing.
Cool info on the stairs. I keep thinking of you doing the stairs like Rocky. Way cool. Can't wait to see your awesome results. I like the real world application of it. When I'm better, I think I'm gonna give it a whirl.
A stair challenge would be great. I just need to find the stairs.
