As planned I enjoyed 1 Molson Canadian beer and did have a brownie dessert with ice cream. However, afterwards I realized that the only thing I enjoyed was the beer and the dessert didn't do anything for me. Though I consumed more empty calories I am glad I did, because it showed me that the pull of sweets and junk food isn't controlling my life anymore and as much as I enjoyed the beer I didn't have a second!
I'm celebrating my personal victory as I head out to enjoy the wonderful sunshine in Vancouver.
