Day #3 - Week #5 and what if...

What if my diet consisted only of whole foods...meaning, what if I chose to do a huge change and consume only fruits, veggies, protein, beans, and whole grains like granola, nuts etc? Eliminating all...I mean all processed foods? What would transpire during this transformation stage?
Well, I'm going to experiment - not for a long duration, but by taking baby steps...not quite sure when I'll start, but if it's in my heart and head then it will be practiced.
Right now I'm thinking of starting off with 2 days on one day off etc. I'll keep you posted!

I must admit that I've never been one to ever measure my food prior to eating - the only time measurement's come into play is during baking:-) For some it works and for others...well it just isn't my thing. However, after writing out in detail what I'll be consuming for the next 2 days, I got to thinking...why not take the time to journal exactly what I planned to eat and what I shouldn't have eaten for the next 3.5 weeks. I mean every single thing! Why do this? Well, if my workout plan is written out and executed with results; then why not add the other element that is as essential to my overall success? That way I can have a documented tale of how effective or ineffective following this plan was. I'm in! Starting today and I'll share parts of my detailed eating and workout as I progress.
Every Friday evening to Saturday evening (24 hours) I will be off the clock - meaning that though I will journal what I eat, it will be my off day. That is my time to eat and drink what I want in moderation. My workout plan will still be in place!
OK, you know the drill...stay the course and don't ever quit!

Hey Diane!
Love your new idea. So good to try out different things just to see what will work the best. Seems so smart to eat raw, whole good food. Will be checking back in to see how it´s going. Take care!

OMG - that's an awesome idea - staying away from processed foods!! The more natural the food source, the better it is going to be for you. Shred on girl!
