Week 2 begins

As I move into another week I’m happy with my progress and at the same time became aware of a few things.
Reducing carbohydrate intake for 5 days and going intense in my workouts wasn’t the smartest move for me, because I crashed Thursday PM. Friday and Saturday I took as rest days. Lesson learned and moving on making adjustment and changes to my workout and nutritional plan. My goal is to find out what works best in getting results and keeping my energy up all at the same time. I’ve discovered that when I consume complex carbohydrate my metabolism and blood sugar goes off.
Today was 20 min cardio and 20 min full body strength training with no rest in between sets.
Workout plans for this week:
Sun – full body strength training and cardio
Mon – sit-ups and cardio
Tue – Full body strength training
Wed – Rest
Thurs – Sit –ups and cardio
Fri – Full body strength training
Sat – sit- ups and Cardio
Sun – Rest
Nutritional Plan:
Sun – Medium carbohydrate and protein day
Mon – all fruit and protein day
Tue – Low carb and protein day
Wed – all fruit and protein day
Thurs – Low carb and protein day
Fri – Medium carbohydrate and protein day
Sat – Fruit, Protein and carbohydrate loading day

The bottom line is be true to yourself, find out what works, put it into practice, encourage yourself, reward yourself, challenge yourself, and remember to stop and enjoy not just your accomplishments, but enjoy you.

Diane, I'm the same way with the carbs. I am still working on portion control with them. I like how you outlined your week. Great idea.

Hi Diane,
You are doing so good. Isn´t it hard to find just the *right* thing for each of us. I am doing what you are...searching my body and asking questions, and find that eating things high in good fat really gives me what I need. Energy, satiety, and I stop thinking about being hungry and wanting food. You might try an avocado now and then....
