My B-day on Day 48

May, me and Mona at Stevenson
Today I celebrated my 44th birthday - it was a wonderful day, the weather was spectular and everything appeared to be singing me a song. My colleagues and friends did an amazing job to make it extra special. Needless to say a workout was not scheduled for today. After work my friends in the picture took me to a a seafood restaurant at Stevenson; an area where the fishing boats come into dock and the catch of the day is sold to the public and local restaurants. The restaurant was located on the dock of the Fraser river with a beautiful view of all types of boats, and the sounds of seagulls in the back ground. We dined at "Blue Canoe", shared a nice bottle of white wine from "Sumac Ridge" and I had fish and chips. Afterwards we strolled to the local ice cream parlor and I was treated to 1 scoop of maple walnut. It was a delightful evening.
I'm thankful to God for being alive and healthy to see another birthday surrounded by a great bunch of dear friends.
