Day 3 of RTP 2.0 Challenge

It is so important to prepare yourself mentally prior to your workout - take time to go through what you'll be doing before you get there, and ALWAYS have a back up plan in case the machine you want to work on is in use, or not functioning as was the case when I hit the gym last night. I was all geared up to hit the T.Mill again (it is my favorite piece of workout equipment) only to find that is was broken. However, I had a back up plan and immediately got going. I switched things up a bit and was on the bike that has a back rest with pedals forward (sorry, can't describe it any better than that), about 6 min into pedaling a squeaking sound started. I refused to stop despite the annoying sound..I was determine and focus on finishing that 10 min strong and did. It was all legs and cardio and it was brutal. Every time I thought of letting up, I would think about this challenge, and found myself bearing down and pushing harder. Using this method has helped me to add an extra ump to my workouts.
I just completed my upper/cardio and sit-ups.
Question - Have anyone heard about this new 7 min workout and if yes what are your thoughts on it?
Thanks, and remember it takes work, but it is worth it!

Hi Diane! there is just something about knowing there are other people out here in the www that are watching our every move that really propels us to push on! It is like we are feeding off of each others excitement!
as to the 7minute muscle...I have only heard great things about it! Jon Benson knows his stuff! he is also the author of "Fit Over 40".

I love that shirt and sweater. I think you were on the recumbent bike. It's easy on the back. I still think of you every time I walk up a flight of stairs. :)

Sounds like you're shredding super hard. Happy Day 3!

Very good advice Diane about having a backup plan (I always carry a skipping rope with me just in case the cardio equipment is full)

Diane, you are dedicated! I agree a jumprope is also a great idea to carry with you. I don't know much about the 7 minute workout but just today listened to an audio with Jon Bensen and was very impressed.
